Former Davenport resident and retired Washington State Trooper Jerry L. Brantley, Sr. passed away March, 2023, at his home in Spokane. Jerry was born in Tokio, Texas on Feb 5th, 1937, to William and Alice Oleta Brantley. Graduated from Brownfield High School in 1956 went on to West Texas State to play football. In 1958 Jerry joined the Army where he was stationed at Geiger Base in Washington. He met and married Katherine Noreen Braun Sept. 1959. They were married for 46 years and had 5 children.
