Laurel Street between Cottonwood Avenue and Broadway Avenue.

Birch Street between Spokane Avenue and Broadway Avenue.

Central Street between Cottonwood Avenue and Broadway Avenue.

Fern Street between Spokane Avenue and Broadway Avenue.

In other business, police chief Mikeal Suniga requested the council approve funds to buy new rifles for the police department.

At present, the department has two rifles, both older than 20 years.

Suniga said new rifles would have “updated technology, enhance officer safety and would be the primary weapons used during critical incidents.”

The council voted 3-2 to purchase two new rifles and to update the two currently in use, with Clay Soliday, Dan Graham and Shad Vincent in favor and Celeste Lewis and Leanne Merkel opposed.
