Lundgren run ends at Districts

SPOKANE — A run into the second day of District 7 1B/2B tennis came to an end for Reardan sophomore Kerstin Lundgren Saturday, May 20. Lundgren fell to Chewelah sophomore Cora Grooms in District play at Mead High School.

Lundgren had qualified for the second day of districts with a win over Davenport freshman Kaitlynne Guhlke Saturday, May 13. She was the only athlete from Lincoln County to advance that far.

The top two finishers at Districts advanced to state, and both hailed from the same school. Avi and Simi Sahota of Chewelah were the District qualifiers.
