- Harrington's nine members of the Class of 2023 were celebrated, including valedictorian Lexie Hirst and salutatorian Jake Tanke.

- The Lincoln County Commissioners appropriated $4,000 through the end of the year for a youth-oriented health education program.

- 39 graduates made their commencement march at Davenport High School, including valedictorian Suzanne Schreck and salutatorian Kylene Marriott.

- Dawn Mining Company's closure plans on State Highway 231 from Reardan to an abandoned millsite in Ford cost $4.2 million up front and a $6 million posted bond that guaranteed payment for annual road studies and maintenance on the highway from damage caused by the company's trucks.

50 years ago

- Herb and Tana Hardung were named the 1973 Sprague-Harrington Conservation Farmers of the Year.

- Gene Clark started work as the new manager of Davenport's Old National Bank branch.

75 years ago

- 50 planes from all over the area sponsored by the Active Club came to the Davenport airport and were greeted by Miss Dorothy Guhlke, Active Club's candidate for Princess Davenport.

- A USBR employee was seriously injured when a government geodetic survey launch anchored at the junction of Hawk Creek and Lake Roosevelt exploded, burned and sank.

100 years ago

- The Davenport commercial club endorsed the proposed plan of Assessor Irving R. Borck to have Lincoln County reassessed and valued by an expert.

- Lincoln County received more rain June 1, 1923 (2.95 inches) than it did the entirety of any month of June since 1913.
