Odessa school board approves fee schedule

ODESSA — The local school board approved the fee schedule for the 2023-24 school year at a regular meeting Wednesday, July 26.

Associated Student Body dues/card will be $20 for K-6 and $45 for 7-12. Agriculture/shop fees are $20, while 4-year-old preschool tuition is $110 a month and 3-year-old preschool tuition is $70 a month.

Reduced preschool tuition is $55 and $35 a month respectively based on lunch qualification.

Lunch prices are $3.50 for grades 7-12 and $5 for adults, while a la carte entrees are $1.90 and a la carte sides are 75 cents.

Breakfast is $2.50 for grades 7-12 and $3 for adults, while a half pint of milk costs 40 cents.

Grades K-6 receive free breakfast and lunch this year, as do grades 7-12 on reduced lunch.

In other business, the school board approved the hire of Jennifer Goetz as a volunteer athletic trainer and Daniel Lloyd as a K-12 music teacher while also approving the resignation of Zoe Clark as business teacher and FBLA advisor.
