CITY OF DAVENPORT
SCRUB SEAL PROJECT
Sealed bids will be received at
Davenport City Hall, 411 Morgan
Street, PO Box 26, Davenport,
WA 99122, until 10:00:00 am,
Thursday August 31, 2023,
at which time the bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud.
Base Bid: The base bid work
generally consists of completing
a scrub seal over approximately
14,390 SY of existing asphalt
and including a fog seal over the
finished scrub seal. Contractor
shall also replace striping on
Adams Road after completion.
Contractor will need to remove
buildup in large cracks to allow
CSS penetration as part of the
Contract as identified in the
Contract Documents.
Twenty (20) working days will be
allowed to complete the Base Bid
Each proposal must be submitted
on the prescribed form
and accompanied by cash, a
certified check, cashier’s check,
or bid bond, payable to the City
of Davenport, in an amount not
less than five percent (5%) of the
amount bid. The successful bidder
will be required to furnish a
performance bond and payment
bond, each in the full amount of
the contract price.

com. Bidders may download
digital documents at no cost and
obtain printed documents, at
Bidders Expense, by choosing
the “Order” option. Posted on
this plan room, under the “Documents”
section, is an Official list
of locations where documents
may be examined. Any questions
regarding this plan room,

com. Partial sets of Bidding
Documents will not be available
from the Issuing Office. Neither
Owner nor Engineer will be responsible
for full or partial sets
of Bidding Documents, including
Addenda if any, obtained from
sources other than the Issuing
Office.

This project is funded in part
through the Washington State
Transportation Improvement
Board funds. All work performed
will be subject to state prevailing
wage rates. The City shall have
the right to reject any or all bids
not accompanied by bid security
or data required by the bidding
documents or a bid in any way
incomplete or irregular.
