Lincoln County Harvest time

DAVENPORT –Depending on what part of Lincoln County you're in, wheat harvest is either winding down, ramping up or right at its peak.

Closer to the county seat, wheat farmers tend to be in the middle of harvest, with most Reardan-area farmers not far behind, conversations with stakeholders and farmers indicate.

Further south, most Harrington farmers are nearing the end of harvest, while many Odessa-area farmers are wrapping up their harvest seasons.

"As a company, we're over halfway done," Davenport HighLine Grain Growers manager Beau Duff said. "We're probably seven to 10 days earlier than normal (on average)... I'm already starting to see some spring wheat coming in."

Farmers from around Lincoln County submitted pictures of their harvest activity this year, while we sent reporters to harvests north of Davenport and Reardan.
