1935 - 2023

Ella Elizabeth was born to William (Bill) & Irene Crowson Aug 2, 1935 in Oxhart, Saskatchewan (registered in Vidora, SK). She was the oldest of 11 children who met the love of her life at age 14 and married Richard (Dick) Nolt of Lodi OH at 16 on April 27,1952. He was volunteering to lead Sunday School and family gatherings in Vidora when they sparked a lifelong love affair for one another that lasted over 60 years before Dick went to Heaven. Ella waited over nine years to meet Jesus face to face and to be reunited with her love. Together they added four children William (Kim) Nolt, Joy (Craig) Wilken, Brad (Debbie) Nolt, and Judy (Jim) Warren, 10 grandchildren; Heather (Leigh) Rose, Joshua (Kristin) Nolt, Clay (Marie) Wilken, Nicki (Nathan Wagner) Denman, Timothy (Mary Lawson) Wilken, Shane (Nikki) Nolt, Danielle Warren, Ashley (Mikail) Simonsson, Michael (Alex) Warren and Fawn Nolt. 22 great-grandchildren ; Sierra (Ben) Almanza, Spencer (Taylor Johnson) Denman, Kaylee (Tyson) Thompson, Drake (Elsa Oldham) Nolt, Kaleb Nolt, Lily Nolt, Timothy Wilken Jr, Ella Wilken, Dahlia Nolt, Cameron Wilken, Draven Nolt, Korra Lawson, Myles Wilken, Madelyn Nolt, Kaylee Lawson, Edmund Smith, Opal Warren, Savannah Nolt, Trevor Simonsson, Majestic Wilken, Emily Nolt, Abigail Simonsson and one great-great-granddaughter Arcadia Thompson. Ella was predeceased by her husband Dick, and grandson Micheal Nolt, parents Bill & Irene Crowson, sisters Arlene & Daisy and brother Ernest, and numerous nieces and nephews. She took her role of wife, cook & homemaker seriously and opened her home to many extras. Her other 'title' to many as 'Prayer Warrior' fit as she was the first call made by family and friends for prayers. The legacy of Ella & Dick Nolt is one of love of God and love of family-who all will miss her but consider themselves to be Blessed by their Christian heritage. Memorial Service to be held Sat, Sept. 30 at 11am with lunch following at Garland Alliance Church, 2011 W Garland in Spokane, Wash. where she attended church for many years before she moved to Kennewick, Wash. Memorials can be made to Child Feeding Program, Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico
