Odessa celebrated the 52nd annual Deutschesfest from Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 14-17. Among the highlights of the celebration of all things German were Bier Garten antics. Dancers crowded onto the floor for multiple Chicken Dances and an opportunity to win a medal for their prowess on the floor. In addition, Deutschesfest partiers enjoyed several varieties of beer, some brewed locally.
