CITY OF DAVENPORT
CEMETERY MAINTENANCE
BUILDING REPLACEMENT
PROJECT
Sealed bids will be received at
Davenport City Hall, 411 Morgan
Street, PO Box 26, Davenport,
WA 99122, until 10:00:00
am, Thursday October 31, 2023,
at which time the bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud.
Type of Project: Design-Build.
This project will replace a maintenance
building at the Mountain
View Cemetery, Davenport,
WA. This building currently
houses a wellhead, sprinkler
system mechanical equipment
and a separate storage room.
The new building will have a
separate storage room, ADA
accessible restroom, utility room
and main operations area. Wellhead
and sprinkler system
equipment must be protected
during construction.
Base Bid: The base bid work
generally consists of demolition,
removal, and replacement of
the existing 36’x20’ building
and concrete floor. Contractor
shall replace the building with
a steel or wood frame insulated
structure including a roof with
well access hatch, interior walls,
utility room, and ADA accessible
restroom, 8’x12’ overhead rollup
door and two exterior metal access
doors per the preliminary
drawings. A new concrete floor
and sidewalks around the building
are required. Contractor
will need to install a 250 gallon
septic tank suitable for pumping
out material. A new electrical
service to support outlets, LED
lighting and a space heater in
the restroom.
Sixty (60) working days will be
allowed to complete the Base
Bid.

be available from the Issuing
Office. The Owner will not be
responsible for full or partial sets
of Bidding Documents, including
Addenda if any, obtained from
sources other than the Issuing
Office.

This project is funded by the
City of Davenport. All work
performed will be subject to
state prevailing wage rates. The
City shall have the right to reject
any or all bids not accompanied
by bid security or data required
by the bidding documents or a
bid in any way incomplete or
irregular.
