Odessa senior Melloney Deife gets a dig in the Tigers' 3-0 loss to Wilbur-Creston Tuesday, Oct. 24.
ODESSA - The Tigers got a win and a loss in the last week, defeating Chesterton Academy in straight sets before a Senior Night sweep at the hands of Wilbur-Creston.
Odessa defeated Chesterton Academy 25-10, 25-14, 25-11 to improve to 7-6 this season.
Then, on Senior Night, the Wildcats came to town and swept the Tigers 25-19, 25-20, 25-23 as Odessa dropped to 7-7 this season.
Seniors Hayden Schuh and Melloney Deife led the Tiger attack. Schuh notched 15 kills, while Deife had 20 assists and 11 digs.
Odessa has two matches left before Districts, traveling to Almira-Coulee-Hartline Thursday, Oct. 26 before hosting Wellpinit at noon Saturday, Oct. 28.
