PUBLIC NOTICE

CITY OF DAVENPORT

SURPLUS ITEMS FOR SALE

Notice is hereby given by the City

Council of the City of Davenport,

Washington Resolution 2023-22

that certain items of city property

were declared surplus and for

which the City will be soliciting

bids. The full list of items can

be found at City Hall and at the

City’s website, davenportwa.us.

Selected items shall be offered

to the public for purchase “as is

where is” to the highest bidder

with no expectation of serviceability,

warranties or guarantees.

Items available include; 1985

plow truck, 1972 flat bed, 1000

gal poly tank, 5500 diesel generator,

air compressor, used shed

building material, airport weather

station, airport PAPI system, and

airport beacon.

Bids will be accepted beginning

on November 2, 2023 and ending

at 4:00 p.m. on November

16, 2023. On November 17,

2023 the bids will be opened

and successful bidders shall be

notified. Signed bids need to be

submitted on the City’s bid form

and submitted by mail or in person

to City Hall, PO Box 26, 411

Morgan, Davenport, WA 99122.

All submissions should be clearly

marked on the outside of the

envelope “Surplus Property Bid”.

All successful bidders must pay

for all items and need to be

picked up by November 22, 2023

at 3:30pm. Bids on partial lots

will not be accepted. Items are

stored at various locations and

may be viewed by calling (509)

725-4352 for specific location.
