Appearance first in school history
Davenport FFA's nursery landscape team is competing at the national convention in Indianapolis for the first time in school history this week. Seven students are competing at the convention.
DAVENPORT - The high school's first-ever FFA team to qualify for the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis is competing this week. The local FFA nursery landscape team competed Wednesday, Nov. 1 and will learn their outcomes Thursday, Nov. 2.
The team qualified with a state championship in Snohomish May 24.
Seven students are joining advisor Todd Hargrave in Indianapolis this week, with sightseeing and touring done Tuesday, Oct. 31 prior to Wednesday's competition.
