PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that pursuant

to the provisions of RCW

Chapter 36.40, the Board of

Commissioners of Lincoln County

has completed and placed

on file a Preliminary Budget for

the ensuing fiscal year 2024, a

copy of which will be furnished

any citizen who will call for it at

the Board’s office. The Board of

County Commissioners will meet

and conduct a hearing at 8:30

a.m., on Monday, December 4,

2023, for the purpose of fixing

the final 2024 budget, making

tax levies and adopting changes,

if any, to the Six-Year Capital

Facilities Plan, and reviewing

revenue sources for the 2024

Current Expense Budget. Following

the 2024 Budget Hearing,

the Board will conduct a Tax

Levy Certification hearing at

11:00 a.m. on Monday, December

4, 2023.The hearing will be

held at the Office of the Board of

County Commissioners located

on the lower level of the County

Courthouse, 450 Logan Street,

Davenport, Washington. This

is an open public meeting. Any

taxpayer may appear and be

heard either for or against said

proposals.
