Traffic stops: 10

A caller said she was driving behind a white pickup all over the roadway on Highway 231 North.

A Davenport man requested a hulk slip for cleanup in another man’s yard.

An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 1600 block of Seven Bays Road.

A caller said an erratic driver in a Honda pushed him off the road.

A wrong-way driver was reported on I-90 at milepost 240.

Malicious mischief was reported on the 600 block of Armstrong Avenue in Wilbur.

A Davenport woman said her daughter’s car was hit by another juvenile driver at Sixth and Park Streets.

A Davenport man said a dog bit an Amazon Prime driver in the leg on the 38700 block of Phar Road.

A Harrington woman requested extra patrols near her residence on the 200 block of Grover Street, stating semitrucks consistently ran a nearby stop sign.

Theft of a tire and auto parts was reported on the 600 block of Alder Street in Sprague.

A 76-year-old man that fell in a ditch and couldn’t get up was reported.

A commercial burglary alarm was reported going off at Wonder Mart in Wilbur.

A commercial burglary alarm was reported at the McKay Seed plant on the 39300 block of Sorensen Road north of Almira.

A vehicle vs. power pole crash was reported.

Traffic stops: 3

A disabled motor home on the side of Highway 2 near the Spokane County line was reported.

A non-injury crash was reported near the westbound weigh station on Highway 2.

A Spokane man said a semitruck hit his boat trailer when he pulled over to check his tires.

A caller requested a welfare check on her daughter in Odessa.

A caller said a bronze plaque was stolen near the Creston Café.

Littering was reported outside the Sheriff’s Office.

A Wilbur woman said her husband’s daughter took Wheatland Bank certificates from their safe.

A Harrington man said an F150 had been parked in his parking lot on Third Street for three days.

A caller said his neighbors told him someone had been in his yard and messed with his old vehicles.

A Ford man said his wife saw a red car swerving all over Highway 2 westbound in Spokane County.

A caller said a suspicious vehicle parked in front of their house near Bull Run Road north of Reardan.

Traffic stops: 1

A caller said an old man was trespassing on his property.

A Harrington man requested permission to tow an abandoned vehicle that had been sitting for five days.

A Ford man said he was missing a plate on the 10500 block of Crescent Road north of Reardan.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in an alleyway behind Oak Street in Reardan.

Domestic violence was reported in Odessa.

A caller requested assistance jump starting a car at Lincoln Hospital.

An abandoned vehicle was reported in Odessa.

A caller said her 94-year-old mother had a serious bladder infection and her brother wouldn’t take her to the hospital.

A Davenport woman said her dog was attacked by two other dogs near the trailer park at 12th and Jefferson Streets.

A Grand Coulee woman asked about the legal age a child must be to be home alone.

Nov. 16

Traffic stops: 0

A man was arrested for driving under the influence on I-90 at milepost 245.

A caller said a vehicle hit a deer near her house on Highway 23 at milepost 49.

An Odessa woman said her autistic son was trashing his room upstairs.

A Davenport woman said she locked her keys in her car.

A caller said a person crossed her fenceline and was shooting toward her house.

A Harrington man said his neighbors were doing burnouts on Fourth Street.

Spokane Tribal Police said they arrested a man on a Lincoln County warrant.

District Court requested that deputies take a man into custody on warrant.

A caller said his car broke down between Wilbur and Creston and his insurance towed it to Wilbur, but the car wasn’t there when he went to pick it up where he was told it was towed to.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence on Highway 2 entering Reardan.

A dead deer blocking Highway 2 by the transfer station was reported.

A caller said a “crazy guy in a piece of crap little diesel car” was hanging out on BLM land.

A caller said her 16-year-old son lit family photos on fire in the backyard because he was mad the WiFi was turned off.

Traffic stops: 3

A Reardan man said he found his partner dead in their home off Fisher Road north of Reardan.

A caller said he went to pick up his friend’s horse and found that his dog had been without food for a few days, while little to no straw had been left for the horses.

A blocking vehicle was reported in Reardan.

A Lincoln man requested a welfare check on a couple that hadn’t been seen in two months.

Papers were served to a woman on the 100 block of Railroad Avenue in Reardan.

A courtesy ride was given to a pedestrian headed to American Truck and Auto Parts in Waukon.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on a woman who appeared to have a bloody nose in Safeway.

A Davenport man said two German shepherds were running near Nicholls and Maxwell Streets.

Traffic stops: 3

A 60-year-old unresponsive man with liver failure was reported to be breathing heavily.

A caller requested a hulk slip for a vehicle that was abandoned at his residence before he bought the property.

A caller reported a car laying on its side approximately three miles up Hawk Creek Ranch Road.

A courtesy ride was given to a woman from Safeway to Hawk Creek Ranch Road.

A tractor on fire was reported on Omans Road south of Davenport.

An Almira woman said her neighbor was intoxicated and doing burnouts in his car in the streets.

Drewe William Rynning, Spokane Valley, speeding 10 mph over limit and failure to renew expired tabs. $275 fine.

Shawn Michael Fugere, who was charged with tampering with a witness to falsely testify, had his case dismissed as part of a global resolution in District Court.

Mathew Scott Chafin, who was convicted of first-degree child molestation in May 2021, will remain on a Special Sex Offender Sentencing Alternative program and be subject to a review hearing in one year.

Cody A. Moore, who is charged with attempting to elude a police vehicle, falsely reporting to a public officer and obstructing a law enforcement officer, entered a not-guilty plea. Bail was set at $20,000. A readiness hearing was set for Dec. 12 and a jury trial was set for Jan. 3.

Kenneth Wayne Slack, who is charged with second-degree possession of stolen property and third-degree possession of stolen property, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for Jan. 9 and a jury trial was set for Feb. 7.
