Local churches offer Christmas reflections

DAVENPORT — Christmastime is here, with Christmas Eve being Sunday, Dec. 24 and Christmas Day falling Monday, Dec. 25. Local churches are hosting services on both days for those interested in attending.

Here are the plans for churches who returned attempts for contact from The Record-Times.

Davenport

Harvest Celebration Church will hold a Christmas-themed service at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, titled “Tell it Again.”

Trinity Bible Fellowship meets at 10:30 a.m. Christmas Eve and at 10 a.m. Christmas Day.

United Methodist Church meets at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve.

First Presbyterian Church meets for regular service at 10 a.m. and candlelight service at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church meets at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Odessa

Christ Lutheran Church worships at 10:30 a.m. and has a candlelight service at 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Heritage Church worships at 10:30 a.m. and holds a children’s Christmas play at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church holds mass at 8 a.m. Christmas Day.

Zion-Emmanuel Lutheran Church holds regular service at 10:30 a.m. and Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Dec. 24, with a 10 a.m. Christmas Day service.

Four-square church has a 9 a.m. service that includes a children’s program on Christmas Eve.

Reardan

Presbyterian Church hosts a community Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m..

Reardan Church on Oak has a Christmas Eve service at 10 a.m.

St. Michael Catholic Church has mass at 10:30 a.m. Christmas Eve.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church has a Christmas Eve service at 9 a.m.

Harrington

Harrington Nazarene Church hosts a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 10:45 a.m.

Edwall

United Methodist Church meets at 9 a.m. Christmas Eve.

Sprague

Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church holds midnight mass Christmas Eve and mass at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Christmas Day.

Deer Meadows

Lake Roosevelt Bible Church meets at 10 a.m. for regular service and at 4 p.m. for candlelight caroling Christmas Eve.
