Odessa approves 2024 budget

ODESSA — Town council unanimously approved a balanced budget for the 2024 fiscal year at its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 11. The town is budgeting for $3,511,016.99 in both revenues and expenditures.

The town operates nine funds, all of which have an equal number of revenues and expenditures in the adopted 2024 budget.

The figures for each budget include:

$1,010,351 to the general fund

$45,725 to the cemetery fund

$103,350 to the street fund

$1,500 to the hotel/motel fund

$8,000 to cumulative reserves

$295,320.01 to water

$291,700 to solid waste

$1,754,970.98 to sewers
