Wheat talks to be given at Memorial Hall
DAVENPORT—The Washington State University Extension here is hosting a “Wheat Academy on the Road” series of talks at Memorial Hall Thursday, Feb. 1.
The morning-long event runs from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 511 Park Street.
The first talk will be given by Ritzville-based Extension agronomist Aaron Esser, who will speak for 30 minutes giving a summary and research overview of the WSU Wilke farm about a mile east of the city.
Next will be a 30-minute talk on regional canola production by Davenport-based Washington Oilseed Cropping Systems agronomist Jesse Ford. That will be succeeded by a 50-minut...
