Tiger boys go 1-1

WELLPINIT — Outside the roads were icy and slick, but inside the high school gym it was balmy as the Redskins’ hot shooting scorched the nets in their 89-48 win over Odessa Saturday, Jan. 20.

At the start of the fourth quarter, the Redskins made five 3-point shots in a two-minute span. Five Redskins’ players scored at least 10 points with Eli Leyva leading the way. He scored time and time again on break away lay-ins, for a game high 22 points. Franky Wynne took care of business from the outside, hitting four 3-point shots.
