NOTICE OF PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in

Lincoln County, State of Washington, there will be held a Presidential

Primary Election, conducted all by mail countywide. The purpose of

this election is to nominate presidential candidates to be voted for

at the General Election, to be held on the Tuesday next succeeding

the first Monday in November, 2024.

Important instructions for voting in the Presidential Primary: In

this Presidential Primary, the major political parties require voters

to pick a party in order to participate. Voters who choose to vote

for a Democratic candidate must mark the Democratic Party declaration

on the return envelope. Voters who choose to vote for a

Republican candidate must mark the Republican Party declaration

on the return envelope.

Registered voters residing in Lincoln County will be mailed a ballot

on or about February 21, 2024. You may obtain a replacement ballot

at the Lincoln County Auditor’s office, 450 Logan, Davenport during

regular business hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or on Election Day

8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The last day for mail or online voter registrations and transfer of

an existing registration to a new address will be Monday, March 4,

2024. The last day for in-person registration is March 12, 2024 at

the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office, 450 Logan, Davenport, WA.

24-hour Secure Ballot Boxes are available at the following locations

through 8:00 p.m. Election Day: Lincoln County Courthouse Parking

Lot, 450 Logan, Davenport and Harrington City Library, 11 S. 3rd

Street, Harrington. If you prefer to mail your ballot, please remember

that postage is affixed and assure that it is postmarked by Election

Day, March 12, 2024.

A Disability Access Unit is available at the Auditor’s office during

regular business hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning February

23, 2024 through Election Day, March 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00

The Logic and Accuracy Test of the ballot counting system to be

used to tabulate the results of the Presidential Primary will be held

in the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office in the County Courthouse,

450 Logan, Davenport, Washington on Monday, February 26, 2024

at 2:00 p.m.

A Batch Audit (hand count of 6 batches) will be conducted on

Thursday March 14, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.

CANVASSING BOARD MEETINGS: The Canvassing Board of

Lincoln County will hold an open public meeting March 22, 2024 at

10:00 a.m. in the Lincoln County Commissioner’s Chambers, 450

Logan, Davenport, WA to certify the election results.

who have filed declarations of candidacy, so far as the same affects

the electors of Lincoln County, are as follows:
