DAVENPORT — While temperatures refuse to climb above 45 degrees and snowfall lingers as part of “Second Winter,” that hasn’t stopped the sports calendar from turning toward the spring schedule.
Davenport, Reardan and Odessa High Schools began most spring sports practices Monday, Feb. 19, though winter weather and precipitation has forced many teams inside for some practices.
The county seat high school offers track and field, golf, baseball and softball, while tennis is doing a co-op with Reardan due to low participation.
