Davenport senior Jessi Phillips coasts down the track in the girls 3,200 meter race at the Van Kuren Invite in Cheney Saturday, April 13.
CHENEY - Davenport, Odessa and Reardan's track and field teams were among the 39 schools that competed at the Van Kuren Invitational hosted by Cheney High School Saturday, April 13.
It was the Davenport varsity girls that took home the highest local finish, placing fifth with 39 points. The Odessa girls finished eighth with 35 points, while Reardan's girls tied for 17th with 10 points.
Reardan's varsity boys also finished 17th with 21.5 points, while Davenport was 19th with 17 points. Odessa's boys didn't place.
