Over $4,000 raised for Water Mission

REARDAN – The 11th annual Walk for Water, sponsored by Reardan Presbyterian Church, took place Sunday, April 28, at the Reardan park. The 4-mile walk raised awareness and more than $4,000 for Water Mission, an organization that brings water filtration and sanitation solutions to third-world countries and sites of natural disasters.
Event organizer Virginia Henderson said 58 people took part in the walk and enough money was raised to provide water to at least 70 people who suffer from the global water crisis.
