Width restriction on Long Lake bridge, Rest Area closed
DAVENPORT--Two traffic-related restrictions are in place in the next three days on state and federal highways in Lincoln County, according to press releases from the Dept. of Transportation.
Drivers who use State Highway 231 to cross the Spokane River at Long Lake should know that vehicles wider than 8 feet, 6 inches are restricted between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 through Friday, May 17 as crews install conduit lines underneath the bridge deck structure.
And those traveling on U.S. Highway 2 between Davenport and Wilbur will not have access to the Telford Rest Area between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday, May 16 due to a planned closure for septic work.
The helipad onsite will still be accessible for emergency services during the closure.
