Rate Increase Announcement

- Effective June 2024

Commercial and residential

garbage will be increased 10%

on all monthly service rates

due to a contractual increase

by Sunshine Disposal. This

rate increase is effective on all

bills mailed on or after June 1,

2024. Presently, the average

monthly residential 32-gallon

tote garbage service charge is

$20.57. Depending on the usage

of the customer, this annual

rate adjustment will increase

the annual residential cost by

$14.28 per year.

All rate adjustments per customer

use can be viewed at

Davenport City Hall.
