Boil order ceased

HARRINGTON — The City issued a water boil order to its residents after a motor on the City’s third water pump failed Tuesday, May 21. That order was rescinded Wednesday, May 22.

Mayor Joe Armand asked residents to conserve water with “extreme diligence” in a message given to Harrington citizens Tuesday.

“While we are limping along with our City’s original well, it isn’t delivering the volume that we are used to,” Armand said.

That led to possible water contamination from pressure loss.
