Opposed to wind turbines

I have read all your articles in the paper and I find that you are doing a very good job trying to balance both sides of the issues regarding the wind turbine proposal. I am on the side that is totally against them. I think the citizens of this county need to hear from others who have opinions very contrary to the farmers who have signed leases and the wind turbine companies.

Plus I find it troubling when the wind turbine companies can’t answer simple questions directed their way. I am the one who asked them about the use of water for the construction of the platforms and the dust and road conditions. They refused to answer it. I asked if they were going to drill wells to draw up the water, no answer. Our water table has been lowering every year, for example when I purchased my house my well was running at 45 gallons a minute, last year it went to 16 gallons a minute and I had to put in a 1800 gallon cistern at a cost of $23,000 to ensure I have water on my property. If my well runs dry, will the wind turbine companies or the signers of the leases pay for a new well for me? I believe they will not. I think it would be awesome if you could view all the leases and see what is hidden in them that the public has no knowledge of.
