NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

by the Board of County Commissioners

of Lincoln County,

Washington that sealed bids will

be received at the following location

before the specified time:

• At the Lincoln County Commissioner’s

Office located on the

lower level of the Lincoln County

Courthouse, 450 Logan Street,

Davenport, Washington until

2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13,

2024. Bids delivered in person

will be received by the Clerk of

the Board.

• Bids mailed to the Board of

Lincoln County Commissioners,

Post Office Box 28, Davenport,

WA 99122, shall take into consideration

of the mailing time

process and must be received

by the Clerk of the Board by

2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June

13, 2024.

• Any Bids received after the

time stated above by the Clerk of

the Board will not be considered.

Faxed or emailed bids will not

be accepted.

DATE OF OPENING OF BID

The Bids will be opened and

publicly read after 10:00 A.M. at

the Commissioners’ Chambers

on Monday, June 17, 2024.

PROJECT IDENTIFICATION

The projects will be identified

as “Miles Creston Road Section

1” and “Miles Creston Road

Section 1B”.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Miles Creston Road Section 1

No. 95100, CRP No. G-1034:

The project limits for this project

are from M.P. 0.00 (approximately

1.5 miles east of the

Town of Creston) to M.P. 3.01

on County Road No. 95100.

This project will be completed

in two phases. The work to be

completed on this project, for

Phase 1, consists of excavation

and embankment of the

roadway, grinding up existing

BST asphalt, controlled blasting,

extending or replacing existing

drainage facilities, installing

guardrail where warranted, safety

enhancing roadside slopes

as directed, and hauling and

placing Agency provided CSBC

and CSTC. During Phase 1,

Miles Creston will remain closed

to through traffic. For Phase 2,

the work to be completed will

include resurfacing with crushed

surfacing and bituminous surface

treatment to the project

limits, installing construction and

permanent signing, installing

pavement markings, traffic control,

plus other incidental work

as required. Phase 2 will start

no earlier than 06/01/2025 or

as determined by the engineer.

Miles Creston Road Section 1B

No. 95100, CRP No. G-1035:

The project limits for this project

are from M.P. 3.01 (approximately

4 miles east of the

Town of Creston) to M.P. 4.66

on County Road No. 95100.

This project will be completed

in two phases. The work to be

completed on this project, for

Phase 1, consists of excavation

and embankment of the

roadway, grinding up existing

BST asphalt, controlled blasting,

extending or replacing existing

drainage facilities, installing

guardrail where warranted, safety

enhancing roadside slopes

as directed, and hauling and

All bid proposals shall be accompanied

by a bid proposal

deposit in cash, certified check,

cashier’s check or surety bond

in an amount equal to five

percent (5%) of the amount of

such bid proposal. Should the

successful bidder fail to enter

into such contract or furnish satisfactory

performance within the

time stated in the specifications,

the bid proposal deposit shall be

forfeited to Lincoln County.

The right is reserved to reject

any and all bids and to waive

informalities in the bidding.

The recipient, in accordance

with Title VI of the Civil Rights

Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42

U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and

the Regulations, hereby notifies

all bidders that it will affirmatively

ensure that in any contract

entered into pursuant to this

advertisement, disadvantaged

business enterprises will be

afforded full and fair opportunity

to submit bids in response to this

invitation and will not be discriminated

against on the grounds

of race, color, or national origin

in consideration for an award.
