Crash occurred on Harrington-Tokio Road
HARRINGTON — Three young Davenport men who graduated from the high school here in the past decade were killed in a car crash on Harrington-Tokio Road Friday, June 7.
Alan Kysar, 26, Braedon Efraimson, 26, and Blake Wilson, 24, all of Davenport, succumbed to their injuries in the 2-vehicle crash at the intersection of Mohler Road that was reported at approximately 8:30 p.m, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, though the Sheriff’s Office believes that an unidentified driver traveling east on Mohler Road ran a stop sign at the Harrington-Tokio Road and Mohler Road intersection, crashing into the southbound vehicle occupied by Kysar, Efraimson and Wilson.
The driver of the vehicle on Mohler Road was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash, and all three deceased men are believed to have been wearing seat belts, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Washington State Patrol is assisting the Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
All three men were graduates of Davenport High School. Newspaper archives and School District administration indicate Efraimson graduated in 2016, Kysar in 2017 and Wilson in 2018.
A public funeral will be held for Efraimson, Kysar and Wilson this weekend.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church 10 miles north of Davenport, 35900 State Highway 25.
A viewing will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, June 14.
