Reardan AAA baseball wins league

Little leaguers top Medical Lake in chip

CHENEY - Reardan's AAA Little League baseball team, consisting of boys aged 9-12, is this year's West Plains Little League champions. The team sponsored by PNW Landman of Cheney knocked off MLEA of Medical Lake 11-2 in the championship game to conclude an 11-2 title-winning season Friday, June 14.

Reardan lost two of its first three games, then got hot. Reardan won 10 straight games to pick up the No. 2 seed in the West Plains tournament.

CFCU of Westwood was the team's first postseason victim, then Reardan defeated Leo's Photography, also from Reardan, in the semifinals.

The championship was a nail biter, but Reardan avenged an earlier loss to MLEA with a 12-11 victory.

This year's team was coached by Brian Graham, Josh Cobb and Mike McCain.

Players included Colton, Owen and Weston Wagner, Westen and Wyatt Titchenal, Finn Cushman, Riley Wynne, Benjamin Graham, Solomon LaMoureaux, Henry Cobb, Tucker McCain, Asher Hough, Treston Barrett and Weston Abrahamson.
