Multiple public hearings on tap

Commissioners take up topics July 15

DAVENPORT — The Adams County Board of Commissioners will open the floor for public hearings on multiple topics when they meet Monday, July 15.

The meeting begins at 8 a.m. with approval of vouchers and consent agenda items.

The first public hearing is set for 9 a.m. The public will be able to provide testimony on an open space timber classification for Harbor Hanson, Inc.

The second public hearing is set for 9:30 a.m., on an open space timber classification by Randy and Valerie Vissia and a third is at 9:45 a.m. to provide testimony on a request from Jason and Stephanie Schafer. A fourth public hearing is set for 10 a.m. on the proposed sale of used and surplus equipment.

Other items on the agenda include a broadband report from Margie Hall; and an update on public works from David Orvis, Dave Sanford and James Wege.Commissioners will also take up unfinished business as well as hear from Odessa Memorial Healthcare CEO Brett Antczak and CNO Barbara Vogelsang.
