DAVENPORT — Innovia Foundation will host a free Kona shaved ice event at Davenport Waterpark on Thursday, August 1, from 2 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., as part of its 50th Anniversary theme, “Celebrating Community.”
According to the Foundation, the event aims to provide a space for community members to gather, swim, and enjoy free treats.
This event is part of a series of activities Innovia is hosting to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.
Throughout 2024, Innovia, in partnership with NonStop Local KHQ, will host various free, inclusive, family-friendly activities to commemorate the Foundation’s impact over the past 50 years.
In addition to Innovia-sponsored events, the Foundation has launched an online calendar for community celebrations.
Community members attending Innovia-sponsored events can submit photos for a chance to win a $250 grant for a nonprofit of their choice.
Entries can be posted on Instagram with the hashtag #innoviacelebratescommunity or submitted through an online form.
