Screaming Eagles lose to Jenkins

Reardan next travels to Ritzville

REARDAN – Injuries took a toll on the Screaming Eagles as they lost to Jenkins (Chewelah) 31-18 in their matchup Friday, Sept. 20.

For three quarters, the Reardan offense moved the ball behind the running of Zander Thornton and Blake Wynecoop and the passing of quarterback Rysen Soliday, who tossed touchdown passes to Hunter Flaa and Shane Book.

"We played well for three quarters," Reardan head football coach Matt Clouse said, "but after suffering key injuries in the fourth quarter, they wore us down."

The loss was the first blemish on the Screaming Eagles' record as they dropped to 2-1. Jenkins improved to 2-1.

Reardan's next game is at 7:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27 against Lind-Ritzville-Sprague, in Ritzville.
