Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
Auditor’s Office also assist with relief funds
DAVENPORT — Lincoln County has a new representative for veterans in its Veterans Office.
Clif Warwick has been selected for the position and will be working out of the 303 Sixth St. office inside the Washington State University Extension building.
Warwick, a lifelong Lincoln County resident, is charged with assisting local veterans and their families as well as help with obtaining military benefits, finding civilian jobs and more.
“We want everyone to understand that we are here to help the veterans of Lincoln County, and we look forward to doing so,” Warwick said.
Prior to taking on the Veterans Office representative position, Warwick spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
The Veterans Office provides a connection for benefits and jobs, and works with Veterans Service officers in Stevens County to address veterans’ issues. The Veterans Service officers visit Lincoln County twice a month at the office.
Warwick isn’t the only person locally available to help veterans.
Lincoln County Auditor Chandra Schumacher is also able to assist veterans through the Lincoln County Relief Fund, available to help veterans who qualify.
“We look forward to getting out to the communities in Lincoln County and establishing a relationship with our Veterans,” Warwick said.
Warwick was recently at the Reardan Health Fair to assist veterans and will be available Oct. 8 at the Sprague Health Fair.
Veterans in need of assistance can reach Warwick at 509-936-0816.
