REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) LINCOLN COUNTY FIBER MATERIALS PROCUREMENT FOR “CONNECTING LINCOLN COUNTY”

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of County Commissioners of Lincoln County, Washington that proposals will be received until 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 17, 2024 at one of the following locations: Regular Mail to PO Box 28, Davenport, WA 99122-0028 OR in person / Fed Ex / UPS to Office of the Board of County Commissioners Clerk of the Board’s Desk at 450 Logan Street, County Courthouse, Lower Level, Davenport, WA. It shall be the submitter’s responsibility to ensure that proposals are delivered to the Board of County Commissioners prior to the deadline and receipted by the Clerk of the Board. If sending by mail, please identify proposals on the outside of the envelope as “Fiber Materials Procurement.” Email bids will not be accepted.

The proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud after 9:15 a.m. at the Commissioner’s meeting scheduled on Monday, October 21, 2024, for fiber materials procurement.

Statement of Need (Scope): This RFP is intended to solicit proposals from vendors for fiber materials needed for a Fiber-To-The-Home build in Lincoln County. The Board of Lincoln County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. Please be advised that Lincoln County, being a municipal corporation, is exempt from Federal excise tax.

The County of Lincoln hereby notifies all submitters that it will affirmatively insure that in any agreement entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated for or against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin, in consideration for an award. Small, minority and woman-owned firms are encouraged to submit proposals. This project is funded through the America Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus Capital Funds, and the Washington State Public Works Board.
