Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
REARDAN – The Screaming Eagles’ soccer team scored early and often in their 10-1 shellacking of Kettle Falls Thursday, Sept. 26.
Noelle Raczykowski led Reardan’s attack with four goals. MacKenzie Bjornberg and Kylie Alsept each scored two goals and Carmella Oxstin and Elise Cox scored one apiece.
Reardan head coach Richard Breedlove said he pulled Raczykowski from the game with 24 minutes left to allow other players the opportunity to gain experience. He was pleased with what he saw.
“They came together and passed the ball with purpose,” Breedlove said.
He reserved special praise for sophomore Rylynn Green.
“For a first year player Rylynn was phenomenal. She played fast and aggressive which really helps our team.”
With the win, Reardan improved to 3-2. The loss dropped Kettle Falls to 0-5.
Reardan plays at Newport in their next game before returning home on Thursday, Oct. 3 to take on Northwest Christian.
