DAVENPORT - The visiting Liberty Lancer boys football team picked up right where it left off, upending winless Davenport for the second time in just two weeks.
On Friday night, Oct. 18, the Lancers (4-3, 3-1 in league) took home a 35-0 victory in a Northeast 2B league matchup. The win here followed an Oct. 4 Lancer victory over Davenport, 18-0, in Spangle.
Individual statistics were not reported for the game.
This Friday, Oct. 25, the Gorillas will travel to Colfax to take on the 5-1 Bulldogs for the second time this season.
Kickoff at Colfax High School is at 7 p.m.
The teams faced off already once this season, on Sept. 27 in Davenport. The Bulldogs won that game, 33-13.
The Gorillas (0-6, 0-4 in league) will return home for their final game of the year on Friday, Nov. 8. The visiting opponent has yet to be determined.
