Lincoln County Dept. of Public Works has an opening for one (1) regular full-time Equipment Operator in the Davenport Area. Under immediate supervision, performs manual labor and operates any of the following types of equipment: end-dump trucks, belly-dump trucks, graders, front‑end loaders, backhoes, excavator, and related equipment to maintain and repair the county road system. This position may also require the ability to obtain a public operators pesticide license within 6 months of hire.
The salary range for 2024 for this position has been established at Grade 1, Step 1 at $3,775.00 to Grade 2, Step 6 at $5,393.00.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Minimum educational requirements are high school education or equivalent.
Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
Experience in heavy equipment operation or equivalent experience and training is preferred.
