Walser held nearly 70% of the vote
DAVENPORT - As of Election Night, Tuesday, November 5, Adam Walser is leading in the Lincoln County Superior Court Judge race with 68.1% of the vote, as reported by the Lincoln County Auditor's Office.
"I am appreciative of the citizens of Lincoln County for being as high of a tourout as we have historically been. We have demonstrated a strong demand in the democratic process, as far as tonight," said Walser. "I appreciate everyone being so participatory. I am excited. I am 70-30 ahead and I am still in shock."
With all 46 precincts reporting, Walser has garnered 3,206 votes, while opponent Victoria S. Iverson follows with 1,487 votes, or 31.6%. There were also 17 write-in votes, totaling 0.36%.
"I am a little disappointed," said Iverson. "Thank you for voting."
Lincoln County saw a voter turnout of 60.8%, with 5,257 ballots counted out of 8,641 registered voters. Approximately 1,000 ballots remain to be counted, with the next update scheduled for Thursday, November 7, at 4 p.m.
Though ballots remain to be counted, Walser currently maintains a significant lead in the race. Final certification of results is set for November 26.
