A proper send-off

The Davenport Gorillas girls volleyball team received a proper send-off to the state tournament on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12. With emergency vehicle sirens blaring and lights flashing, the girls were escorted out of town. They opened the state tournament in the Yakima Valley SunDome in Yakima on Wednesday morning, Nov. 13. The local girls opened the tournament at 9:45 .a.m. against Rainier. For coverage of state as of press time, see Page 11.
