Stanley passed away Nov. 15, 2024 in Spokane Valley, Wash. his home Edwall, Wash. Stan was born Jan. 23, 1934 in Odessa, Wash. to Henry and Leone Dormaier, and later in life the family moved to Edwall, Wash. where he attended school. At the age of 15 he went to work for a farmer and then was called to serve in the US Army for 2 yrs in Hawaii. He returned home and was a grain farmer until 1992 when he retired. He married Doris Dickinson in Edwall, Wash. on Jan. 20, 1962 and together raised 2 wonderful sons StanLee and Mike who now run the family farm. Stan is a member of the NRA, Acacia Lodge 58 F & AM and the Davenport Gung Club he also loved county music. Stan is survived by his wife of 62 yrs Doris at the home, two sons StanLee (and Carie) Dormaier and Mike (and Brenda) Dormaier along with three grandchildren Cody, Marrisa and Maddy and two step grandchildren Brianna and Kelly and two great grandchildren Alice and Rhett, two step great grandchildren Annabelle and Bjoern.
