POMEROY - Odessa's Corbyn Neilson put the first points on the scoreboard, but the Tigers weren't able to hold off the No. 6-ranked Pomeroy Pirates.
The Pirates eliminated the No. 11-ranked Tigers from the 1B (8-man) football playoffs, 52-12, on a cold rainy Friday night, Nov. 15, in Pomeroy.
Neilson scored in the first quarter on a 60-yard carry.
Pomeroy answered with a 22-yard TD from quarterback Jett Slusser, who added the 2-point conversion to take an 8-6 lead.
