New deputy joins county Sheriff's Office
Deputy Matt Gilbert was announced online by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office as a new deputy to join the team on Monday, Nov. 25.
DAVENPORT - The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has hired a new deputy.
Deputy Matt Gilbert joined the local sheriff's office enforcement team on Monday, Nov. 25.
A native of Western Washington, Gilbert grew up harvesting fir trees and boughs for Christmas wreaths, embracing the holiday spirit early on.
He graduated from Shelton High School in Shelton, Wash., and later earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Centralia College.
