Volunteers bring Christmas dinner to shelter

WILBUR - A local group of volunteers spread holiday cheer by delivering a festive Christmas dinner to the dogs and cats at Adams County Pet Rescue in Othello.

The meal was a hit among the shelter animals, with dogs like Fruit Loops, Inari, Torngat, and Frosting enjoying every bite.

Handsome, one of the dogs, showed particular enthusiasm for his serving of chicken and sweet potatoes, while Claws, a feline resident, couldn't get enough of the chicken.

Other animals indulged in chicken, sweet potatoes, and green beans, savoring the holiday feast.

The shelter expressed gratitude to the volunteers and the community members who made the celebration possible, bringing warmth and love to the shelter's furry residents this holiday season.
