Fire destroyed the Tuttle home in Edwall. The fire started in the back part of the house. Mr. Tuttle was overcome by smoke and had to be taken out through a window. Heck of a way for him to observe his 77th birthday.

Petitions for naturalization were filed by Jacob Zeiler and George Eckhardt of Odessa. Both men are from Russia. Both men had 2 witnesses.

Duck Lake Creek started running into Crab Creek last week. About a foot of water filled the frozen creek bed. The main flow of Crab Creek returned to normal a couple of days later.
