Gorillas, Tigers, and Broncos oh my!

The Davenport Youth Basketball Tournament, held from Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16, featured a weekend of exciting matchups across multiple age divisions.

In the boys' competition, Davenport saw a victory in the 4B bracket, defeating Odessa, while Ritzville fell to Omak in the 3G division. Colfax's teams had a strong showing, with both the 4G and 6G squads securing wins over Liberty and Finley, respectively. Tekoa also had success in the girls' tournament, with the 7G team triumphing over Omak.

In other notable results, Liberty's boys' team won their match against Freeman in the 3B division, and Republic defeated Liberty in the 7B boys' bracket. Kettle Falls won their 5B matchup against Omak but fell to Freeman in the 6B division. In the 8B boys' bracket, Omak defeated Kittitas.

For the girls, Omak proved dominant, winning in the 3G, 5G, and 8G brackets. Colfax also emerged victorious in the 4G and 6G divisions, while Ritzville's 8G team secured a win over Brewster.
