Glenna Soliday coverts a steal into two points for the Gorillas in their 50-47 loss to Liberty.
SPOKANE VALLEY – Despite Glenna Soliday's 23 points, Davenport fell to Liberty 50-47 Friday, Feb. 21 at the NE2B District 6 Girls Basketball Tournament at West Valley High School. The win earned Liberty a berth in the state tournament.
In the first quarter, Glenna Soliday carried the Gorillas offensively and in the second quarter Charlotte Soliday did. Between them, they scored 15 first half points, the same amount that Liberty's Tyla Tiegs had. With several of Tiegs' teammates chipping in points, the Lancers took a 30-24 halftime lead.
