Reardan baseballers win season opener

REARDAN – The Screaming Eagles rode the dominant pitching of Tysen Finch to win their opener of the 2025 baseball season 6-1 over Liberty Tuesday, March 18. Finch struck out 13 batters and allowed only two hits in his season debut.

Hunter Flaa and Colton Lonning both got two hits for Reardan and Levi Collier knocked in two runs.

"This was a good opener for us," Reardan head coach Bobby Green said. "We are still making some adjustments and still getting players up to speed to play at the varsity level. This game was a good starting point for us to build on so we can continue to get better. This team is a family and were just going to keep working together to improve."

After two games on the road, Reardan returns home to play Davenport on Tuesday, March 24, at 4:00 p.m.
