DAVENPORT — Communities across Lincoln County are celebrating Easter with events for all ages, from sunrise services to egg hunts and train rides.

In Davenport, the Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast and egg hunt on Saturday, April 19, at Davenport City Park. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. and includes scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes, coffee, orange juice and milk. The Easter egg hunt begins at 9 a.m.

On Easter Sunday, April 20, Christ Lutheran Church (Egypt) will hold a service at 8:30 a.m., followed by a children’s egg hunt and brunch.

The Inland Northwest Railroad Museum will offer its popular Easter Train Ride & Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, with rides departing at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Brakeman Bunny will ride each train and be available for photos.

“We have a great big bunny that is part of the ride. Everyone gets a chance to get their picture with the bunny,” said Dale Swant, president of both the Lions Club and the Inland Northwest Railroad Museum.

A free egg hunt follows each ride. Children 4 and under ride free on a guardian’s lap. Tickets include museum admission and are available online or at the counter the day of the event.

Creston — An Easter egg hunt for kids through sixth grade begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Bryant Park, south of Highway 2.

Creston Christian Church begins its Holy Week with a Maundy Thursday soup supper and service on April 17 at 5 p.m. Easter Sunday events include a brunch at 9:45 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m. at 110 North East Foster Street.

Harrington — The Harrington Lions Club hosts its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at Harrington High School for children up to sixth grade.

Odessa — The Odessa Lions Club will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Reiman Park. Age groups are divided into 0–3, 4–6, and 7–9.

Reardan — Emmanuel Lutheran Church will hold a Maundy Thursday supper with Holy Communion on April 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The Reardan Lions Club will sponsor the 23rd annual community Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Reardan City Park for children up to fourth grade.

A Sunrise Community Easter service will be held at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 20, at Reardan Cemetery, 600 South Central. Pastor Pat Hogan will lead the service, sponsored by We C.A.R.E. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather; no seating will be provided.

Sprague — The Sprague Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. at Sprague Elementary School. The event is open to children of all ages up to 5th grade. Older kids, those in 6th grade and above, can take part in a special scavenger hunt. A map will be provided to all participants.
