A couple who ran away from their homes in Sprague were arrested in Everett. Mr. William Lynch left his sick wife and seven children and Mrs. George Phillips left her husband and eight children. Judge Sessions sentenced them to serve one to two years at Walla Walla State Penitentiary but Mrs. Phillips was returned home to her husband and children.

Floyd Smith sold his hardware store in Davenport to Livingston and Goody, the area plumbers will use their former place of business as a store house for tools and implements.
